Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you all - hope '07 brings you whatever you desire!

Ok so I've tried to write this entry once before but managed to delete it accidentally, so second time lucky! More bumming around at home in Tetbury since the last blog, but am heading back tomorrow (Sunday 7th) ready for work at the hotel and Rep Theatre again, hopefully revitalised!

New Year's was fun, and different. Went to a couple of parties, the first being Chris Green's at his local village hall in Gloucester. The Strange Creation team (except Ads) were all there, and so we did a very short and impromptu Monty Python sketch entitled The Registry Office. Basic storyline behind it is that a man walks in and says to the Registrar "I want to get married", to which he responds "Well I'm already married I'm afraid, I could get a divorce", and you can see how it goes! Fun stuff. Left there about 10.30 to go to Liz's back in Stroud, where we were at midnight. Turned on the TV and caught the spectacular fireworks in London, and it was nice because I hadn't been drinking that much (as I was driving to Liz's) so was able to talk and catch up with school friends. All good.

Oh yea that was the other thing - I enjoyed the Edinburgh Festival Fringe so much last year that there isn't a herd of wildebeest that could stop me going again, and I'm thinking this year we're gonna have to stay in a B&B/hostel, so in the next few months it'll be worth planning who is going, for how long, where we'll stay, etc. So anyone who's game let me know!

x
